A family building company, since 1993.
Chris has been building in the Auckland area since 1993. We were based in Green Bay until 2009, and we still have many clients across Auckland and East Auckland. Over the years we have built a name for good quality work, and for being straight with clients and tradespeople alike.
We work mostly across South Auckland, Franklin and North Waikato. Our team includes qualified builders and apprentices, and the office team keeps you informed and the project organised.
We love building, and we enjoy giving clients a result they are proud of. Part of our profit goes to charity each year, and some of our team helped build a kindergarten playground for a village in Fiji.

Chris officially starts Heineke Builders in Auckland. R. Pearce, one of his first clients, has used him ever since.
Heineke Builders becomes a limited company.
New homes, renovations, recladding and light commercial work from our base in Bombay.
Five values guide how we work with every client, tradesperson and sub-contractor.
Open and honest communication. Issues come to you early and get resolved.
Qualified tradespeople, proven sub-contractors and attention to detail.
We keep up with the latest regulations, information and technology.
Many clients work with us on several jobs: homes, investments, businesses.
Polite and courteous with every client and sub-contractor on site.
What protects your investment when you build with us.
Independently administered, so you stay covered even if something happens to us. It moves to the new owner if you sell within 10 years. The premium is included in most of our quotes.
NZCB members are trade qualified and have checked references. It’s how we can offer the Halo guarantee.
Restricted building work, like structure and weathertightness, is done or supervised by licensed practitioners.
We come back to fix warranty issues, and we chase suppliers and sub-contractors to honour their warranties for you.

A. Lyne had a complex deck and retaining wall replaced on a cliff above the Manukau Harbour. Chris met regularly with the architect, started on schedule and flagged every surprise as it came up. The project stayed on budget.
